EMDR What's New 2020

In 2020 we made several important enhancements to the EMDR website to better enable our visitors to quickly find and view summary information about their map entries of interest.

• Our Recent Entries page now permits quick filtering/sorting of recently released EMDB maps (e.g., by keyword or map type)
• Using the same approach, all keyword searches for EM maps via the top menu bar offer the same options (example: nucleosomes).
• Coronavirus Enhanced Search features curated lists of EMDB holdings for all coronavirus-related EM maps, including SARS-CoV-2.
• Search Term Tool lists common terms used within EMDB entries, e.g. journal names, microscope models, reconstruction software.
• Mol* 3D Viewer permits web-based viewing of EMDB maps and their associated PDB models (example: CRISPR complex)
