EMDB Weekly Release Cycle

You may have noticed that this website is updated on a weekly basis. The EMDB archive's weekly release cycle is also now synchronized with the wwPDB release cycle (see wwPDB news item "Coordinated Release of wwPDB data" 16-December-2009). Maps queued for release before Thursday at 16:00 GMT will be available on EMDB ftp sites on the following Wednesday at 00:00 GMT. As a result of synchronization, related EM map and coordinate entries held for publication by EMDB and PDB will usually be released at the same time.
