Growth of EM Structural Data

A record number of EM structural data entries were released in 2013: 544 EMDB maps, and 236 EM-PDB models. The overall size of the EM structural data archives has also substantially increased, as shown in this updated growth chart. The robust growth is an indicator of the increasing impact of EM in structural biology research.
